Ben Frasco is an urban planner focused on human-centred planning that strengthens cities, families, and communities. He works at Mecone, advising on State-significant development, planning proposals, and urban policy across New South Wales. He is also a sessional academic at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where he teaches urban renewal. He holds a Master of Planning and a Bachelor of Business (Dist.) in Finance from UTS. He founded Cohesive Communities to explore planning and design for the common good, and contributes to planning reform through Street Level Australia and the UDIA Young Leaders Committee. He been cited in the Sydney Morning Herald and NSW Parliament Hansard. He co-authored a paper on democratic counterterrorism protective security published in the proceedings of the SASBE 2024 international conference.
